KETERKAITAN KONDISI PARAMETER FISIKA DAN KIMIA PERAIRAN DENGAN DISTRIBUSI KLOROFIL-A DI PERAIRAN BARAT SUMATERA

ABSTRACT

The aim of this research are to discover spatial and temporal Chlorophyl-a distribution and the relations of that distribution with temperature, salinity, nitrat, carbon, and ENSO in western waters of Sumatera. This research used time series data analysis, data used in the period 2002-2006. The pattern of phsysics and chemical waters variability will be displayed with various marine software that is ODV, Surfer, and Transform. and then for the regression and correlation analyzed for discover the relations between chlorophyll-a with physico-chemical waters parameters and ENSO will use microsoft excel.Result showed the very significant corelations between chlorophyl-a with physico-chemical waters parameters and ENSO on 2002-2006 years period in western waters of Sumatera. To conclude, in general the chlorophyll-a distribution in western waters of Sumatera can be described through physico-chemical parameters of sea waters in western part of sumatera and ENSO impacts in Indonesia.
